In a grand, orchestrated display meant to unite the scattered clans of the <i>Aetavanni</i>, the captured Sollan vessel <i>[TAMERLANE](https://www.suneater.wiki/books/sollan-empire-starships/page/isv-tamerlane)</i> and its crew—members of the elite [RED COMPANY](https://www.suneater.wiki/books/meidua-red-company/page/meidua-red-company), captured at Padmurak—were sacrificed before a vast Cielcin host.
