# Catherine the White

Over centuries, she recounted William's dreams and visions in the dead of night. She said he would wake screaming, covered in sweat, in the throes of seizures. However, he would always refer to a voice that spoke to him in the night, revealing coordinates and other tactical information used to defeat the [Mericanii](https://www.suneater.wiki/books/mericanii/page/the-mericanii) in the Foundation War. There are only three surviving copies of the book. The Chantry destroyed the others before the sixth millenium, as it recounted William the man, not the god.
