Turned the settlement camp of Pseldona into the great city of Lady Gadar's time. His descendants, the barons and baronesses of Thagura, took the arid, windswept world from a minor outpost to a flowering oasis.
Thagura had been settled thousands of years before, and the nobiles who ruled over it had carved their likenesses a thousand feet high into the walls beneath the blasted crown. The relief images of Baron Aram Malyan—who raised up the city—and his son, Vahan, stood to either side of the rising path, their hands supporting the rim of the acropolis, their muscled bodies seeming to support the palace their family called home.
