Fidchell Station: A massive orbital fueling and trade hub suspended above the icy world of Fidchell, a critical waypoint for refueling and resupply on deep-space routes. Its equatorial ring is covered with silver towers, exposed struts, carbon whisker cables, rotating sections, and docking points for Legion, Mining Guild, and Consortium vessels.

Due to the planet's long orbital period and frigid climate, its surface is icy and unhospitable, but on the night side of the planet, lights from scattered petroleum mining settlements are visible.

Fidchell itself shone white and pale blue—a frigid snowball of a world in orbit about a distant yellow star. The sparse lights of mining settlements glowed on its night side, but the day showed little signs of human habitation. Only limitless tundra.

Fidchell Station, on the other hand, gleamed ahead like a topless tangle of silver towers, some rising, some falling, some proceeding at right angles from the equatorial band where—like a mighty wheel—ships smaller than our Tempest lay at anchor.
