Footnotes

Below follows a guide on how to reference different material in your references list.

References to novels and novellas should be formatted like this:

[Book], Chapter X

Demon in White, Chapter 59

In wiki syntax, you would write it like this:

<li><a href=""><i>Demon in White</i>, Chapter 59</a></li>

References to short story collections, such as the Tales of the Sun Eater volumes, should be formatted like this:

[Collection], [Short story] (Chapter X)

Tales of the Sun Eater, Volume 1, The Night Captain (Chapter 1)

If the short story doesn't have chapters, you can remove the parentheses, like this:

Tales of the Sun Eater, Volume 1, Victim of Changes

In wiki syntax, you would write it like this:

<li><a href=""><i>Tales of the Sun Eater, Volume 1</i>, The Night Captain (Chapter 1)</a></li>

References to websites, such as Highmatter Books, should be formatted like this:

Website Name (year), [Website Page Title]

Highmatter Books (2025), Shadows Upon Time

If the website doesn't contain the year it was last updated, you can write it like this:

Highmatter Books (n.d.), Shadows Upon Time

In wiki syntax, you would write it like this:

References to videos or livestreams, on YouTube for example, should be formatted like this:

[Channel Name] (year), [Video Title (timestamp)] [video]

Sun Eater (2025), SHADOWS UPON TIME | Launch Day Livestream (4:39:20) [video]

If the video doesn't contain the year it was last updated, you can write it like this:

Sun Eater (n.d.), SHADOWS UPON TIME | Launch Day Livestream (4:39:20) [video]

In wiki syntax, you would write it like this:

References to the Patreon Trading Cards should be formatted like this:
