Judecca

Judecca is a frigid, mountainous planet located in the Sagittarius Arm. Known for being the site of the Temple of Athten Var and the birthplace of the Irchtani species, Judecca is also where the storied Simeon the Red has his famous struggle against the mutineers.

Trivia

  • In Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, specifically in the Inferno, Judecca is the name given to the deepest and innermost circle of Hell, reserved for the worst kind of traitors. It is named after Judas Iscariot, the apostle who betrayed Jesus. According to Empire of Silence, Chapter 29, Simeon the Red named the planet Judecca for the treason committed there by his former crew.
