Sir Damien Aradhya

A renowned HAPSIS operative and commander of the legendary Atropos Expedition, which uncovered the massive cliffside ruins of the Vaiartu (also known as the Stonebuilders) on the obscure Outer Perseus world of Nairi. Under orders from Emperor Sebastian XII, Aradhya led a combined team of scholiasts and Legion engineers to investigate what was later revealed to be a pilgrimage shrine housing the entombed body of a Watcher (also known as the Monumentals). Aradhya and his team learn the colossal beings were worshipped by ancient alien civilizations. The entire expedition perished in mysterious circumstances, with suicide ruled the official cause, though recovered reports suggest Aradhya believed the Vaiartu built their city to venerate the slumbering entity. His mission marked the Empire’s first confirmed encounter with a Monumental, beginning a secret, thousand-year HAPSIS research war later known as Operation Gnomon. Captain of the ISV Atropos.
