Called HOLY CATHERINE or CATHERINE THE WHITE. Author of the Acts of Will *, mother of the second emperor, VICTOR SEBASTOS.

—Her lover, KING WILLIAM VII WINDSOR, called WILLIAM THE ADVENT, the God Emperor. The first Sollan Emperor, deified by the Chantry.

*The Acts of Will, called by some The Book of the Son of Suns, was written by the God Emperor's paramour, Catherine. Over centuries, she recounted William's dreams and visions in the dead of night. She said he would wake screaming, covered in sweat, in the throes of seizures. However, he would always refer to a voice that spoke to him in the night, revealing coordinates and other tactical information used to defeat the Mericanii in the Foundation War. There are only three surviving copies of the book. The Chantry destroyed the others before the sixth millenium, as it recounted William the man, not the god. "One copy is in the Eternal City under lock and key. The second is on Avalon, at the Cenotaph. And the third lies in a vault on Old Earth." (Ashes of Man, Chapter 17)
